The Challenge
We partnered with Hitachi Rail Europe to redesign the Fleet Management Tool, a platform that enables engineers to monitor the status of train maintenance in real time.
Workshops & Customer Interviews
Over the course of a week, we conducted workshops and interviews with system users to gather feedback and map their journey across the platform. This helped us uncover key pain points and identify where design improvements were most needed.
Wireframes
Based on our research, we created a series of black-and-white wireframes for both mobile and desktop. These wireframes focused on improving usability, simplifying navigation, and ensuring engineers could access critical information quickly and efficiently.
The Outcome
The redesigned tool provided engineers with a clearer overview of fleet maintenance, streamlined workflows, and improved accessibility across devices. The new design also established a stronger foundation for future feature development and scalability.
